9/11 audio tribute from Antenna

Antenna Audio has collaborated with the Tribute WTC Visitor Center in New York to produce an audio tour in commemoration of the events of 9/11 and to coincide with the Center's first anniversary.

The new tour - The Spirit of Tribute - Stories of September 11th - consists entirely of the voices of people directly affected by 9/11, including survivors, rescue workers, volunteers, area residents and 9/11 families.

The tour is narrated by Tribute WTC Visitor Center President and Co-founder Lee Ielpi. Ielpi is a former New York firefighter whose son, also a fire- fighter, perished at the World Trade Center site.

The full-length Antenna Audio tour - costing US$10 - opens to the public on 28 September, 2007 in English and will be available in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish from 23 October.

The Tribute WTC Visitor Center was created by the September 11th Families' Association to share the personal stories of victims, survivors, rescue and recovery workers, volunteers, and residents of Lower Manhattan.

Since its opening, the Center - next to Ground Zero - has seen more than 275,000 visitors.
